In 2019, I managed to cut a daily animation pipeline from 6 people to 3 — by building an After Effects template system that made scale possible.

Daily sports, league, and city-news reels produced across our Snapchat accounts — ~40 animated snaps a day, looping live on the company’s screens. Here’s the system behind them.

Our Snapchat accounts published ~40 animated snaps a day — sports results, league updates, and city news across KSA and the region — looping on the company’s screens as a live showcase of the work. To sustain that pace, I built a master After Effects system of 200+ reusable reel templates, organized with markers and image placeholders so anyone on the team could produce a finished snap by swapping assets rather than animating from scratch.

I standardized the whole library behind it: national-team and major-league club logos normalized to one size and ready to switch, copyright-free KSA city landmarks, and 1,000+ categorized royalty-free tracks — all color-coded and unified, with tutorials and training sessions so the team could run it independently.

The result: half the headcount, double the throughput, and a promotion.
